HEATSTROKE (FALL 2021)


A young boy finds trouble settling into his new apartment. He is uncomfortable and irritated from this unfamiliar place — it becomes suffocating to him on this hot summer day.



In the 15 week long semester I had to create this film, I decided to explore feelings of overstimulation, discomfort, and emotional suffocation that exists alongside the slow mundane pace of everyday life. I explored the contrast between the two seemingly opposite energies in this film through the plot, visual stylization, and the flow of time.
